Rasmussen Global announces new Advisory Council

Rasmussen Global, Europe’s leading independent geopolitical advisory firm, announces today a new Advisory Council composed of four experienced policymakers with a strong international political and security background.

Chaired by Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Advisory Council will be composed of:

  • Elżbieta Bieńkowska, former European Commissioner for Single Market, Industry and Entrepreneurship and Deputy Prime Minister (Poland)
  • Mircea Geoană, former Deputy NATO Secretary General, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador (Romania)
  • Gabrielius Landsbergis, former Minister for Foreign Affairs and Member of the European Parliament (Lithuania)
  • Lord Mark Sedwill, former UK Cabinet Secretary, National Security Advisor, and Ambassador (United Kingdom)

Welcoming the Advisory Council, Anders Fogh Rasmussen said: “Europe is at a critical juncture for its security and geopolitical interests. I am pleased that Rasmussen Global continues to expand with our new Advisory Council. We are staying true to our mission of strengthening the European security landscape.”

Active as of today, the Advisory Council will provide strategic advice to democratic governments and leading European companies on critical issues such as international security, transatlantic relations, EU policy, energy, critical raw materials, space, Ukraine and Armenia amongst others.

Founded in 2014 by former NATO Secretary General and Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Rasmussen Global has offices in Brussels, Copenhagen, Kyiv and Berlin, with representation across Europe.
