About Rasmussen Global
Rasmussen Global was founded in 2014 by ex-Danish Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen. We are a boutique consultancy firm driven by a strong purpose: to help democratic governments and international businesses navigate European and transatlantic affairs – helping them connect the dots and get their message across.
As a political consultancy, we take on projects where we can make a difference, solving complex public policy challenges or making the case for a freer, more open and democratic world. We think politically but have a hands-on culture: making a measurable impact on public policy issues. This is why so many of our clients stay with us.
We are a small but highly agile firm with offices in Copenhagen and Brussels, as well as senior staff present in key capitals.
We are looking for exceptional mid- to senior level professionals with 5+ years’ experience. What really matters is the quality and relevance of your skills and experience, ideally in the EU institutions or governments touching on issues of technology, space or energy policy.
Importantly, you will be highly motivated, have first class judgment on both the policy and the wider political and geopolitical agenda, and be willing to think creatively to shape public policies. We will look for clues in your background for those key attributes.
You will be willing to take on new issues and projects, seeking to deliver change on behalf of important clients, and grow our business as well.
What could make you stand out
- Project management experience, with proven ability to oversee several public policy projects simultaneously;
- Strong stakeholders management experience including with senior level clients;
- Good connections to decision-makers in Brussels and/or major EU capitals;
- Proven experience within critical policy areas, such as green energy;
- Languages – the more the merrier. Very good writing and communications skills in English is a must;
- Experience organising/hosting events – online or offline –and engaging with the media.
What we offer
Apart from a competitive package commensurate to experience, we offer a strong team spirit built on delivering a purpose, and a sense of autonomy and taking initiative.
Location: Brussels, Copenhagen or Berlin (we may also be willing to consider other European capitals)
To apply – please send a CV and Cover Letter to email@example.com with the subject ‘European public policy consultant’. Closing date is April 25th, 2022 but we will consult CVs on a rolling basis.
