Rasmussen Global is expanding, launching a Ukraine advisory service. The service will focus on helping international companies understand the situation in Ukraine and make investment decisions around reconstruction efforts.

The group will be supported by a new presence in Kyiv, led by former Ukrainian MP Olena Sotnyk. Olena is an expert on Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration and plans for post-war reconstruction. As a Member of Parliament, Olena worked on as rule of law, judicial system reform, and anti-corruption.

The Ukraine advisory service will help companies understand the dynamics of the war, Ukraine’s reconstruction, and provide market entry support in specific sectors such as energy, agriculture, or defence. Alongside the Kyiv presence, the service brings together a team of experts from across Europe. This includes Rasmussen Global’s Founder Anders Fogh Rasmussen, its CEO Fabrice Pothier, former Director of Policy Planning at NATO, and Senior Advisor Nico Lange, previously Chief of Staff for the German Minister of Defence.

The group’s work will be managed by Rasmussen Global’s Geopolitics Director Harry Nedelcu.

Speaking on the launch of the new advisory service, Rasmussen Global CEO Fabrice Pothier said:

“Ukraine has been part of Rasmussen Global’s mission from its inception more than six years ago. On day one of the war, we, like many others, went into fund-raising, advocacy and support to help Ukraine. We are currently working on a pro-bono basis with President Zelenskyy’s Office. It’s time to go even further on our journey for Ukraine. Launching this advisory service and being present in Kyiv is both about our values and about business.”

Rasmussen Global Senior Representative Olena Sotnyk added:

“Right now, Kyiv faces one of its darkest moments. But I also know than Ukraine will emerge from this war stronger, more reliable, and attractive for business. I am excited and honoured to join Rasmussen Global to play our part in helping my country become one of Europe’s most exciting democracies and investment propositions.”
